SACHA ROSEL has a summa cum laude degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures majoring in English and a Master’s degree in Oriental Languages and Civilizations majoring in Chinese. She writes both in English and in Italian. My heart is The Tempest is her first project in English, a dark fantasy novella inspired by Shakespeare's The Tempest and planned to be the first part of a trilogy. Previous projects (in Italian) include a horror-fantastical novel inspired by Chinese culture and a dystopian novel combining lyricism, mystical daoism and post-structuralist feminist theories. She has worked as a bookshop assistant and an English-to-Italian fiction translator (titles translated include the War of Warcraft - The War of the Ancients trilogy by Richard Knaak). She also writes film and book reviews on the online magazine Thriller Magazine.it, mainly in Italian but occasionally in English too and also has a personal blog in English (http:sacharosel/wordpress.com), where she publishes reviews and impressions on books, records, TV series and films.
